This is what a few of our former students have had to say about International Business College.
Picture of an IBC StudentMy name is Delores Evans, I was born and raised in Kingstrie, SC, where I graduated from Kingstrie Senior High School in 1984. I was married in 1990 to a military service member and was stationed here in El Paso in 1996. After being here about a year and was not able to find employment, I decided to return to school at IBC. I studied Administrative Assistant here at IBC and graduated in 1997. I am now employed at Upper Rio Grande at Work, where I have been for the past 3 1/2 years. I attribute my success of my new career to IBC where I've learned valuable skills that I will carry the rest of my life.
Picture of an IBC StudentAfter I graduated from Cathedral High School, I entered the labor force. After several years I realized that my skills needed updating, especially my computer skills. After researching several El Paso schools, I chose IBC for the value as well as it's reputation.
Picture of an IBC StudentI like to take this opportunity to say how grateful I'm to IBC for wonderful help I have always received, from the receptionist to the Director, and the expertise of the instructors that are an asset to your company.

When I decided to return to the work force, I analyzed my potential, and decided to polish my skills. I went to IBC for information on training they thought would be useful. I was counseled and I enrolled in the curriculum they recommended. It wasn't as easy as I had thought it would be. I gave it my all and without inhibition, I continued on the way to the start of a new career.

The instructors were very well versed as they taught our classes. They seemed to enlighten our subjects as they instructed. When I completed the required courses I felt really satisfied with myself and my self esteem was high.

IBC was very instrumental in as far as to recommend me to my present employer, for which I will be ever grateful. In retrospect, I was treated at IBC as if I were the only student. They taught and I listened and learned and at the end of my courses I became more skilled and with better traits. I was so dedicated and concentrated all my efforts, that I was Valedictorian of my class. THANKS TO ALL STAFF AND MEMBERS OF IBC.

Picture of an IBC StudentMy name is Jane Delane Gonzales. I am a graduate of Austin High School. I attended El Paso Community College for 1 year and made it on the Dean's list. I left school to work full-time at Best Buy. I worked at Best Buy for 7 years and my last position there was Customer Service Senior. I then started attending International Business College in July of 1999. While attending school, I started working part-time at the Better Business Bureau. I graduated from IBC in March of 2000. I was Valedictorian, President of the Honor Society, member of Student Council, and received the Student of the Month award for December 1999. After graduation, I went to work for a chiropractor, Dr. Thomas J. Georges. I have had the privilege of attending seminars in Chicago and Las Vegas. I was able to apply my skills I learned at IBC and incorporate them daily. I plan to go back to school and get a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
Picture of an IBC StudentAfter High School, I was undecided so I took time off, one year off to be exact. I attended El Paso Community College for two years. I felt like I was going nowhere. One summer while watching TV I saw a commercial of I.B.C. I thought to myself I should call, so I did. I called and eight months later I graduated from I.B.C. with an Office Automation Specialist Diploma. I now work at West Texas Community Supervision and Corrections Department. Now I'm making the money I desire and doing what I like to do.

My future plans are to continue college and obtain my degree in Counseling.

Picture of an IBC StudentMy name is Maria Kondow; I graduated from IBC in 1998 as an Administrative Assistant. I was out of school for an entire year before I began looking for work. I enlisted with staffing agencies and was calling every ad in the El Paso Times. Job-hunting turned out to be more difficult than I thought. I had just about given up and remembered IBC’s lifetime job placement. I called the placement office, had an interview the very next day, and was hired the third day. I thought job placement was going to be a hassle, due to me being out of school for an entire year, but not at IBC.

My entry position was as a receptionist. I had difficulty answering the phone and I would get very nervous. I called IBC, Carol and I put a greeting together that I would say when answering the phone. In no time my fear was gone and I came up with my own greeting. I started to put my new skills to the test. Now I manage the office, and oversee our El Paso Branch. Thanks to the skills I learned at IBC and the trust of my former boss. The company is Viacom Outdoor, I’m proud to be an IBC graduate. Hope you join our team.

Are you ready to start your future?
